One of the things that makes Prisma special is the incredible community that learners build and the relationships they form with other Prismarians and their coaches. Because we know that being able to see each other is a big part of helping to facilitate those connections.

Per the Prisma Application that all families submit (see below), it is a requirement that learners are camera-on for workshops.

In addition to valuing community and collaboration, we also value flexibility. These are the accommodations that are available if a learner needs them:

Barring those exceptions, we will remind learners at the beginning of every workshop that they should be camera on in order to keep Prisma an engaging, safe, and welcoming place for all.

For security, if a learner without a documented exception does not turn on their camera so the coach can get a visual confirmation of who they are, they will be placed in the waiting room. The coach will let them in once the learner has messaged their coach that they are ready.
